Success For People Microfinance Company Limited (SFP) is a deposit taking microfinance institution licensed by the Bank of Ghana under the Non-Bank Financial Institutions Act 2008 (Act774).  Since its inception in May 2010, the company has evolved from a financial NGO to a company limited by shares.

Vision

The ultimate vision of SFP is to become a one stop world class African financial boutique especially for the marginalized or informal sector who have been excluded by the traditional banks. 

Mission

SFP has a unique mission of providing critical credit and savings opportunities to small and micro enterprises as well as individuals in the informal sector who are not catered for by the formal banking system. It is also committed to building the capacity of entrepreneurs through targeted training and proper utilization of their resources.  We want to contribute to the economic development of Ghana and Africa through financial empowerment of the most vulnerable yet most needy and potentially most profitable sector of the economy hence the cliché ‘Raising Financial Giants’.  In line with its vision to be easily accessible to its clients, SFP plans to scale up its scope of operation to all the regions in Ghana and then expand into other countries within sub Saharan Africa where there is enormous potential for growth.
 

SFP mobilizes funds mainly from Susu (cooperatives) and private borrowings and pays competitive rates on its deposits as a way of building up the savings culture and also increasing its loanable funds

It has so far performed creditably and has gradually established a good reputation on the market.
